Snap-on Business Solutions Signs New Data Access Agreement with Ford Motor Company
Richfield , OH , August 10, 2006 - Snap-on Business Solutions, the innovator and market

parts data access agreement with Ford Motor Company. The agreement extends the relationship
through 2012. This agreement affirms the strong relationship that Snap-on has with Ford
and ensures that Snap-on EPC customers will continue to receive accurate and timely data.
This agreement continues an alliance that Snap-on and Ford began over 10 years ago to
provide critical parts data information and look-up capabilities to Ford and
Lincoln-Mercury dealerships throughout the United States and Canada . The Snap-on EPC is
important to the profitability of these dealerships, as it helps Ford and Lincoln-Mercury
parts departments better manage their parts ordering and stocking costs. It also
integrates with other systems and applications so that parts department employees have
immediate access to part availability and pricing, leading to faster customer service and
improved customer satisfaction.
Snap-on EPCs are currently used by more than 100,000 parts managers, parts specifiers,
and technicians around the globe.
